I am a self-taught artist who enjoys the tactile experience of working with physical materials—preferably the unfancy kind that most kids have at home or at school. My inspirations are Leo Lionni, Eric Carle, and Ellen Stoll Walsh, among others. All the images in my portfolio were created entirely from cut-up construction paper. I prefer illustrations with bright colors, simple shapes, and perceptible texture.
